This Privacy Policy describes how Beijing AIQI Technology Co., Ltd. and its affiliates (hereinafter referred to as "AIQI Technology" or "We") collect, use, disclose, process, and safeguard the information you provide to us when using our products or services. If we ask you to provide certain information in order to verify your identity when using AIQI Technology products or services, we will use this information in strict accordance with this Privacy Policy and/or our User Terms and Conditions.

This Privacy Policy was formulated to fully take your needs into account. It is important that you fully understand our personal data collection and usage practices and feel confident in your ability to control the personal information you provide to AIQI Technology.

TYPES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED

Information about your Xiaomi, WeChat and QQ accounts: When you log in to the device, we will collect information about your Xiaomi, WeChat and QQ accounts, including nicknames and profile picture. When you log in with third-party accounts as Xiaomi, WeChat and QQ, Xiaomi, WeChat and QQ may collect your account name, password and location information. You can learn more details by referring to "DO I HAVE TO AGREE TO ANY THIRD PARTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS?" section below.

2. Universally Unique Identifier (UUID): Identifier generated when you log in with Xiaomi, WeChat and QQ accounts

3. Email: Email address you provided in the user rights center

4. Feedback: Your feedback to us, such as reporting problems you encountered during use, providing suggestions for improvement

5. Contact information: Your contact information for us to reach you after receiving your feedback

· Basic device information: data related to your device's hardware, performance, status, and so on. Including:

1. Device SN: Serial number of the Mi Robot Builder your purchased

2. Firmware version information: Version number of your device's firmware

3. Bluetooth nickname: Bluetooth name given to your device

4. Battery level: Battery level of device

• Device function definitions: Function definitions related to your device hardware.

1. Device mode: Gamepad mode (self-balancing and track mode, off-road mode, super gamepad mode, highway racing mode), path mode, programming mode

2. Auxiliary mode: Offline programming mode, slave mode, colorful mode

3. Path information: Roadmap drawn in path mode

4. Gamepad configuration: Button configuration in super gamepad mode

5. Program archive: Programmed contents and their archive names in programming mode

6. Audio settings: Whether sound settings on the phone and the robot are turned on

7. Engine selection: Wheel-balancing mode, free control mode, off-road mode

8. App language: Chinese and English

9. Balance settings: Balance calibration, parameters and Euler angle

10. Device grouping: Steering gear/ power motor grouped

11. Main steering gear/ motor: Specific steering gear/ power motor may be taken as the main steering gear/ motor.

12. Remote controller switch in mirror mode

• Information about connected device: Information on devices that are connected to your device, including:

1. Ambient sound volume: Current ambient sound volume detected by your phone’s microphone. To protect your information, this information will be only used on the local device.

2. Voice: Your voice commands will be collected and analyzed by iFLYTEK when using voice recognition.

· Location information (applicable for specific services/features only): Longitude and latitude of your location. This information will be used for the path feature in programming mode. To protect your information, this information will be only used on the local device.

We fully understand your concern about the safety of sensitive information you provide. We hereby undertake that no information about location and ambient sound volume will be uploaded to any servers; such information will only be used on local devices, so as to protect your information. HOW THE PERSONAL INFORMATION IS USED

Personal information is collected in order to provide you with products and/or services as well as to ensure legal compliance on our part with applicable laws. You hereby agree to our processing of personal information in accordance with the purposes stipulated by this Privacy Policy, and you agree to disclose personal information to our affiliates and third-party service providers (as defined below).

We may use your personal information for the following purposes:

· To provide, process, maintain, and develop the products and/or services we offer, including after-sales service and customer support, as well as services provided through your device or the website.

· Communicating with you regarding your device, services, or any other common queries (e.g., updates, customer inquiry support, information related to our activities, and notifications), etc..

· Analysis and development of statistical information related to the use of our products and services that are used to further improve our products and services.

· Storing and maintaining information about you for our business operations or legal obligations.

Here are more details on how we use your information (which may include personal information):

· Creating login and account system: Your account information will be used for login and creating an account system, so that you can use our products and services more conveniently.

· Guaranteeing the normal running of the device: We will collect the basic information and function definition information of your device to guarantee the normal running and the normal state of your device if applicable, and to provide you with firmware updates, after-sales services, feedback support, etc. For example, we will collect the unique SN of your device to provide you with after-sales services according to the activated state of the products; we will collect your main control configuration information to match Mi Robot Builder App to corresponding control mode; and we will collect the main steering gear /motor set up by you and provide it with the highest priority level of response.

· Providing programming function: The programming function provides you with abundant configurations. If your programming content involves location and sound volume, we will collect such information for the use by the programming module on the local device. The information of location and sound volume will not be uploaded to the server, and will only be used on the local device, so as to ensure the safety of your information. In addition, to avoid the loss of your programming content, we will collect programming archive information so that you can find the previous programming content anytime.

· Providing device grouping function: In the highway racing mode, you may group the devices, and the devices of the same group will execute the same commands. Therefore, we need to collect your device grouping information.

· Voice control: You may realize the voice control of your device through Mi Robot Builder App. Therefore, we will collect your voice information to make the robot execute corresponding actions according to your voice commands.

· User feedback: Your feedback will be used by us to address your problems and reach out to you with our resolutions.

DIRECT MARKETING

· We may use your email address and Mi account to provide you with relevant promotional materials for products and services. We will strictly adhere to your local data protection laws and seek your independent, explicit permission to use your personal information. We will only use your personal information when we have your consent, or you have expressed that you do not object to us using your personal information. You have the right to terminate our use of your personal data for planned direct promotions. If you do not wish to receive certain types of emails any longer, please contact us at privacy@iqi-inc.com for cancellation. We will not transfer your personal data to our business partners for direct marketing.

WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH?

We do not sell any personal information to third parties.

We may disclose your personal information on occasion to third parties (as described below) in order to provide the products or services that you have requested.

We may disclose your personal information to third-party service providers and affiliated companies as listed below. In each scenario listed below, you can rest assured that AIQI Technology will only share your personal information according to what you have personally authorized. You should understand that when AIQI Technology is sharing your personal information with third-party service providers in each scenario listed below, AIQI Technology shall stipulate practices and obligations of such third parties via contracts to comply with applicable local data protection laws. AIQI Technology shall also use contracts to ensure that third-party service providers comply with standards of privacy rights applicable to them in your jurisdiction.

SHARING WITH OUR GROUP AND THIRD PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

In order to operate successfully and provide you with the full functionality of our products and services, we may occasionally disclose your personal information to other AIQI Technology’s affiliates or our third-party service providers (our mailing centers, delivery service providers, telecommunication companies, data centers, data storage facilities, customer service providers, advertising and promotional service providers, and agents representing AIQI Technology) [Affiliates and/or other third parties] (collectively referred to as "Third Party Service Providers"). These kinds of third-party service providers may process your personal information as a representative of AIQI Technology, or they may fall into one or several of the categories listed above. SHARING WITH OUR GROUP’S ECOSYSTEM COMPANIES

Xiaomi works together with a group of cool companies which together form the Mi Ecosystem. The Mi Ecosystem companies are independent entities invested and incubated by Xiaomi, and are experts in their fields. AIQI Technology may disclose your personal data to the Xiaomi or other Mi Ecosystem companies so as to provide you with and improve the exciting products and services (both hardware and software) from the Mi Ecosystem. Some of these products and services will still be under the Xiaomi / Mijia / Mitu brands, while others may use their own brands. From time to time, Mi Ecosystem companies may share data with Xiaomi relating to products and services under the Xiaomi brand in order to provide software and hardware services and offer better features and an improved user experience. If AIQI Technology is involved in any merger, acquisition, or sells all or part of its assets, we will use emails and/or eye-catching notices on our websites to inform you of any changes of ownership or use of your personal information, and any options you may have regarding your personal information.

SHARING WITH OTHERS

AIQI Technology may disclose your personal information to others without further consent when it is required by law.

INFORMATION NOT REQUIRING CONSENT

· We may share anonymized information in aggregate form with third parties (for example with advertisers on our website) for business purposes; we may share with them the trends about the general use of our services, such as the number of customers in certain demographic groups who purchased certain products or who carried out certain transactions.

· In order to avoid any suspicion, AIQI Technology may collect, use, or disclose your personal information without your consent when expressly permitted by local data protection laws (to, for example, comply with a subpoena). AIQI Technology's Security Measures

We are committed to keeping your personal information secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or other such risks, we have implemented reasonable physical, electronic, and management-related measures to protect the information we collect from your products and websites. We will take all reasonable measures to protect your personal information.

Your personal information is all stored on safe servers and is protected in controlled facilities. We will classify your data based on importance and sensitivity and ensure that your personal data possesses the highest level of security. We will ensure that staff and third-party service providers which access such information to help provide you with services and products shoulder the strict contractual obligation of maintaining confidentiality. If they fail to fulfill such obligations, then we will impose disciplinary actions or terminate cooperation. In short, we will periodically review information collection, storage, and handing practices, including physical security measures, to prevent any unauthorized access and use.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

· AIQI Technology is not responsible for security oversights caused by third-party access of your information due to your failure to ensure the privacy of your own personal information. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you must notify us immediately if there is any unauthorized use of your account by any other Internet user or any other breach of security.

· Your assistance will help us protect the privacy of your personal information.

RETENTION POLICY

We will retain personal information (if necessary) for fulfilling the purpose for which it was collected or for complying with applicable legal requirements or permissions. As long as we can reasonably infer that a retention of personal information cannot fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, and we no longer need to retain the information for legal reasons, dispute resolution, enforcement of our agreements, or any other business-related purpose, we will cease to retain such personal information, or we will eliminate any ways in which such personal information may be associated with specific individuals.

ACCESSING OTHER FEATURES ON YOUR DEVICE

Our applications may access some features on your devices, like Wi-Fi network status, and other features. Such information is used to allow running of those applications on your devices and your interactions with our applications. AIQI Technology is fully aware that everyone has different concerns about privacy. Therefore, we have provided some examples of the various ways in which AIQI Technology allows you to limit the collection, use, disclosure, and processing of your personal information, in addition to ways in which you can control your privacy settings:

· Click “Setting” – “Personal Center” – “User Right Center”, please input your email address to receive the duplicate of your personal data;

· Logging in or out of your account;

If you previously agreed to let us use your personal information for the purposes described above, you can change your decision at any time by writing us a letter or sending an email to privacy@iqi-inc.com.

Accessing, updating, or correcting your personal information

· You have the right to request access to and/or correction of any other personal information that we hold about you. When you update your personal information, you will be asked to verify your identity before your request is processed. Once we have a sufficient amount of information, we will be able to process your request to either access or make corrections to personal information. We will respond to your request within the period specified by applicable data protection laws.

· We normally provide such services for free but reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for your data access request.

WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT

· You may withdraw your consent for the collection, use and/or disclosure of your personal information in our possession or control by submitting a request. This can be done by sending a request email to privacy@iqi-inc.com. We will process your request within a reasonable time from the time the request was made, and thereafter not collect, use and/or disclose your personal information as per your request.

· Please recognize that your withdrawal of consent could result in certain legal consequences. Based on the extent to which you decide to revoke consent for us to process your personal information, you may no longer be able to enjoy the use of the AIQI Technology products and services.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL INFORMATION OUTSIDE OF YOUR JURISDICTION

To the extent that we may need to transfer personal information outside of your jurisdiction, whether to our affiliated companies or Third Party Service Providers, we shall do so in accordance with the applicable laws. In particular, we will ensure that all transfers will be in accordance with requirements under your applicable local data protection laws by putting in place appropriate safeguards.

AIQI Technology may allow overseas facilities that are operated and controlled by AIQI Technology to process or back up your personal information. AIQI Technology currently runs data centers in Beijing, the US and Singapore. These overseas jurisdictions may or may not have in place data protection laws which are substantially similar to that in your home jurisdiction. We may transfer to and store your personal information at our overseas facilities. However, this does not change any of our commitments to safeguard your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

MISCELLANEOUS

ORDER OF PRECEDENCE

If you have agreed to our applicable User Agreements, in the event of inconsistency between such User Agreements and this Privacy Policy, such User Agreements shall prevail.

UPDATES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

We keep our Privacy Policy under regular review and may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make material changes to our Privacy Policy, we will notify you by email (sent to the email address specified in your account) or post the changes on all the AIQI Technology websites or notify you through your mobile device, so that you may be aware of the information we collect and how we use it. Such changes to our Privacy Policy shall apply from the effective date as set out in the notice or on the website. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices. Your continued use of products and services on the websites, mobile phones and/or any other device will be taken as acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. We will seek consent from you again before we collect more personal information from you or when we wish to use or disclose your personal information for new purposes.

DO I HAVE TO AGREE TO ANY THIRD PARTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS?

Our Privacy Policy does not apply to products and services offered by a third party. AIQI Technology products and services may include third-party products, services, and links to third-party websites. When you use such products or services, they may collect your information too. For this reason, we strongly suggest that you read the third party’s privacy policy just as you have taken the time to read ours. We are not responsible for and cannot control how third parties use personal information that they collect from you. Mi Robot Builder Children Information Protection Rules

Introduction

The children stated in the Protection Rules refer to the minors aged below 14. The collection, use, transfer and disclosure of children’s personal information shall be notified to the children’s guardians in a significant and clear way, and with the prior consent of the children’s guardians. Before the collection of personal information of minors aged at and above 14, the explicit consent of the minors or their guardians shall be obtained in advance.

The Protection Rules were formulated to fully take your and your children’s needs into account. It is important that you fully understand as your children’s guardian how we collect, use, disclose, process and store the personal information you and your children provide to us when using our Mi Robot Builder, and meanwhile, how we ensure your ability to finally control the personal information you provide to us.

The Protection Rules are special rules for the protection of children’s information on Mi Robot Builder, and are important parts of the Privacy Policy on Mi Robot Builder. In case of any discrepancies between the special provisions involving children mode with the Privacy Policy on Mi Robot Builder, the Protection Rules shall prevail; and where there is no relevant provision in the Protection Rules, the Privacy Policy on Mi Robot Builder shall prevail.
